These Terms govern access to and use of ProjectATC (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing Pro or using the Service, you agree to them. ProjectATC is operated by Timeo Geimer, established in Belgium (“ProjectATC”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at help@projectatc.com.
ProjectATC is a browser-based solo air-traffic-control training simulator for entertainment and practice. It is not approved training, professional certification or a real-world navigation tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by an aviation authority or online flight-simulation network and must never be used for actual flight operations.
Airport and procedure information is based on public aviation data. Surface layouts use OpenStreetMap data and may be simplified. Airline designators and radio callsigns are published identifiers used descriptively. Simulated information may be incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for real operations.
You must provide a valid email through Google sign-in or a magic link and are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16, and must have a parent or guardian's permission where the law of your country requires it. Do not share or resell your account. Contact us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
A Free tier is available. Pro is a single payment, not a subscription. It unlocks the paid features on the purchasing account for as long as ProjectATC continues to operate the Service; there is no renewal or recurring charge.
The purchase transaction is with Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Lemon Squeezy collects payment and applicable tax, issues the invoice or receipt and handles payment disputes and refunds. The final total and applicable terms are shown before payment. The transaction is also governed by Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms. These ProjectATC Terms continue to govern use of the Service.
Pro access is normally activated automatically after Lemon Squeezy confirms payment. It requires the buyer to sign in with the account linked at checkout. ProjectATC requires a current desktop web browser with JavaScript, an internet connection and local storage enabled. Spoken pilot audio also requires browser speech support and an audio output; voice availability and quality differ by browser, operating system and installed voices. No special hardware or downloadable application is required.
The Service, its original code, design and content are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service. Public aviation data, OpenStreetMap data and third-party identifiers remain subject to their respective rights and licences.
We aim to keep the Service available and materially consistent with its description, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance, provider outages, browser changes and events beyond our reasonable control may affect availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content or digital services, liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to those mandatory rights, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or reliance on the simulator for real aviation activities.
We may update the Service to improve functionality, security, data accuracy or compatibility. We will give reasonable notice where a change materially and negatively affects paid access, when required by law. We may update these Terms prospectively; the effective date appears at the top of this page.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Belgian law governs these Terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence or restricting any court jurisdiction they cannot legally waive.
Timeo Geimer is the data controller for personal data processed to operate ProjectATC. Questions and rights requests can be sent to help@projectatc.com. We collect only the data needed to provide, secure and improve the Service.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, those transfers are subject to an applicable legal transfer mechanism and provider safeguards. We do not sell personal data or share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
ProjectATC uses necessary browser storage for authentication, Free progress and logbook data, interface and onboarding preferences, a random analytics identifier, first-touch attribution and pending checkout context. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.
Account creation does not subscribe you to marketing. If you tick the optional email box, we use your consent to send the selected ProjectATC drills, major release notes and occasional Pro offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; you can also withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it.
Account, entitlement and cloud-progress records are normally kept while the account remains active. We retain security, support and product records only for as long as reasonably needed for their stated purpose, dispute handling or a legal obligation, then delete or anonymise them. A deletion request does not require Lemon Squeezy or us to erase transaction records that must be kept by law. Data held only in your browser remains until you clear it.
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
We use access controls, row-level database rules and server-side payment verification to protect account data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the Service or legal requirements change and will post the new effective date here.
Pro is not a subscription, so there is no renewal to cancel. The Free tier provides a working simulator that can be tried before buying. Order details and invoices remain available through the account menu and Lemon Squeezy receipt.
Because Pro access is supplied immediately as a digital product or service, all ordinary sales are final once access has been activated. ProjectATC therefore does not offer a separate commercial “change of mind” refund policy.
Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record and decides payment refunds under its Buyer Terms and applicable law. It may approve a refund case by case or to prevent a chargeback even where ProjectATC does not offer a voluntary refund.
Consumers normally have a statutory period in which to withdraw from a distance contract. Digital-content and digital-service rules contain specific exceptions and conditions. Where checkout asks you to request immediate supply and expressly acknowledge the resulting loss of the withdrawal right, that right may be lost once supply begins, but only to the extent the exception and all formal requirements apply to the purchase.
If those conditions are not satisfied, or the law treats the purchase in a way that preserves a withdrawal right, this policy does not prevent you from exercising it. A request can be made by an unambiguous email to help@projectatc.com within the applicable period.
The no-voluntary-refund rule does not apply where Pro is not delivered, the digital service is materially non-conforming, a payment is duplicated or unauthorised, or another statutory remedy applies. Please contact us first so we can restore access or correct the problem. Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, available remedies may include bringing the Service into conformity, a proportionate price reduction, termination or a refund.
Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy. A full refund revokes the Pro entitlement linked to the order; a partial refund does not normally revoke access unless otherwise agreed or required. Payment disputes and chargebacks may also suspend the related entitlement while they are investigated.

We will try to resolve complaints directly. Consumers may also contact Belgium's independent Consumer Mediation Service after first attempting to resolve the matter with us. Use of mediation does not remove the right to bring a claim before a competent court.
